For almost 50 years, Consolidated Human Resources has been helping businesses of all shapes and sizes optimize their administration and stay compliant with local and federal regulations. As a family-owned company with a history of providing impeccable customer service, they enlisted our help to bring human-centric design at the forefront of their web experience.

The New Logo

Square One

To kick things off, we conducted a discovery session with their CEO to go over CHR's business goals and challenges. Through a series of exercises, we were able to pin down and refine the key pillars of the brand. This defined the brand’s identity: how it should look, sound, and act.

In order to reposition CHR as a tech-oriented, personable, and youthful brand, we reconstructed their logotype to match the brand attributes we unearthed in our discovery session. Starting with the silhouette, we restructured the form to work on a broad scale of sizes and mediums.

The Color Palette

While exploring different palettes, our prerogative was to combine CHR's passion for making work easier, and their family's unique expertise in the human resource space. Our next objective was to express their love for helping businesses of all shapes and colors, while distinguishing each of their five departments (payroll, benefits, compliance, time, and business insurance).

The Typeface

We updated the typeface of the brand to be modern and clean, with just enough charisma. A versatile solution that works well across large printed displays down to small digital screens.
